Sector Impact Program

The Sector Impact Program is an invitation-only funding program for institutions, organisations, and businesses that demonstrate industry leadership, strong engagement, and significant impact within the NSW screen and digital games sectors.

PAX Market Support Program
Screen NSW and PAX Australia are offering up to 10 NSW-based independent game developers the opportunity to receive funding support to exhibit their digital game at PAX Australia in Melbourne 9-11 October 2026.

Pathways Development Program
Up to $30,000
The Pathways Development Program is a competitive Screen NSW initiative that supports emerging writers with disability to develop original long-form screen projects to a pitch-ready stage
Career development
Crew Development Program
$0-$500
The Crew Development Program offers intensive training and paid production placements (with mentorship) for NSW entry-level and mid-career crew from underrepresented backgrounds.
Development funding
IP in Motion Fund
Up to $5,000
The IP in Motion Fund will wholly or partly reimburse, up to $5,000, a screen and digital games producers’ cost to option original intellectual property (IP) from NSW-based creators from Screen NSW Priority Areas.
Production funding
Regional Filming Fund
Up to $200,000
The Regional Filming Fund offsets costs associated with shooting in regional areas of NSW to ensure regional communities share in the economic benefits of the screen sector. Regional NSW is defined as all areas in NSW outside the Sydney Metro area.
