Screen NSW has opened a competitive round to provide a limited number of NSW key creatives with travel support to attend select programs at MIFF 37ºSouth Market in Melbourne, Victoria, from 6-9 August, 2026. The supported programs include MIFF 37ºSouth: Bridging the Gap (for producers) and PostScript & Direct (for writers and directors).
NSW practitioners must apply directly to MIFF 37ºSouth to be considered for selection in either of these programs. Applicants do not need to have submitted or know the outcome of their MIFF application when applying to Screen NSW for travel funding, but offers of funding to competitive applicants will be conditional on being accepted into their selected MIFF 37°South program.

PostScript & Direct enables selected emerging screenwriters/directors/creatives to broaden their contact base by meeting with, and pitching to, a selection of Australia/NZ producers registered at 37ºSouth Market in order to interest them in their work and skills in a series of 20-minute one-to-one meetings.
