Summary

The Screen and Digital Games Travel Fund supports NSW screen and digital games practitioners with travel costs related to key domestic and international events including festivals, markets, conventions, conferences, awards and industry trade missions.  

There are four streams:

  1. International Festival Travel
  2. International Market Travel
  3. Domestic Market Travel
  4. Partner Initiatives

This program aims to increase access to strategic opportunities that support the growth of NSW practitioners and the domestic and global competitiveness of the NSW screen and digital games industries. Applicants are encouraged to contact Screen NSW if they are uncertain about eligibility for this program. 

Key information

  • Grant Type: Open, Competitive
  • Grant value: $0 - $10,000
    • For International Festival and International Market Travel: Up to $5,000 per individual, or up to $6,000 (total) for two or more team members
    • For Domestic Market Travel: Up to $1,500 per individual, or up to $2,000 (total) for two or more team members
    • For Partner Initiatives: Up to $10,000, as specified by initiative.
  • Applications open: 1 July 2026
  • Applications close for 26/27FY: 11pm, 30 June 2027
  • Designated Decision-Maker:  Executive Director, Screen NSW (or their financial delegate)

Program objectives

The objectives of the program are to: 

  • Support NSW practitioners to access strategic domestic and international opportunities that advance their projects, skills and careers
  • Enable market-ready projects to connect with industry partners, financiers, buyers and audiences
  • Deliver clear cultural and economic benefits to NSW including industry development, job creation and project progression
  • Strengthen the global profile and competitiveness of NSW screen and digital games content and talent 
  • Increase participation and visibility of practitioners from Screen NSW priority areas. 

This program is funded and administered by Screen NSW.

Screen NSW uses the SmartyGrants platform for submission of all applications. Applications made using any other format will not be accepted. Please note you will receive a SmartyGrants acknowledgement of submission.
