
In 2025/26, Screen NSW’s Audience and Industry Development Programs are delivering $771,047 in funding to 29 recipients, supporting vibrant screen events and industry experiences across NSW.
The Audience Development Program provides support for organisations hosting screen events, including public screenings, festivals and tours, which deliver high-quality experiences for audiences across the state. The Industry Development Program supports professional development and career advancement opportunities for practitioners in NSW including annual events, workshops, masterclasses, forums and targeted professional development activities.
Both programs support sustainable growth and accessibility for the screen industry, and ensure NSW remains home to thriving screen businesses.
Audience Development Program recipients include Africa Film Fest Australia, Alliance Francaise French Film Festival, Antenna Documentary Film Festival, Bangalow Film Festival, Byron Bay International Film Festival, Bus Stop Film's NSW Showcase & Regional Screening Events, Flickerfest International Short Film Festival Bondi, Flickerfest Western Sydney and NSW Regional Tour, Irish Film Festival, Lebanese Film Festival, Mardi Gras Film Festival + Queer Screen Film Fest, National Indian Film Festival of Australia (NSW), Perfect Light Film Festival, Polish Film Festival, SmartFone Flick Fest, South Coast On Screen, Sydney Underground Film Festival (SUFF), and Very Short Film Festival.
Industry Development Program recipients include Antenna Documentary Film Festival, Arts & Cultural Exchange, Australian Screen Editors Guild, Australian Writers' Guild, Bus Stop Films, Co-Curious, Creative Plus Business Group, Documentary Australia, Flickerfest, Jonathan Cartwright, Noble Steed Games, Queer Screen, Screen Careers Institute Pty Ltd, Screen Illawarra and Screenworks.
